What's In Grandma's Bowl? St. Patty's 'Round Up'

What the heck is Grandma's Bowl you ask?  Read the original Grandma's Bowl post HERE

Well, Grandma's Bowl was a *big splurge* this month... with a whopping $1.98 spent on 'Real Live Shamrocks', as Big Sister calls them.  We had fun visiting the local nursery after school one day this week in preparation for our March Bowl, honoring St. Patrick's Day.  Here she is in all her green glory...

I've never had 'Real Live Shamrocks' in the house before, and I purposely took this photo of them at night, so you can see how they close up each evening.  These are fun little plants, and I hope this one lasts us well beyond March!  Maybe in the meantime they will bring me some luck with my upcoming *delivery* (Baby Sister's arrival ticker is at 46 days and counting...)

Aren't they cute?

And for some added St. Patrick's Day inspiration, here is a little 'Round Up' of decor ideas that I came across while brain-storming our March Grandma's Bowl.  All photos link to the website where I found them.

I love the simplicity of this table setting (and I just love moss, too).  This is a good reminder that a little splash of something festive can go a long way.

And for you paper-crafters out there, I think this would make such a cute hanging ornament, and would also be perfect to adorn a wreath.
Cute mantle decor - and there are probably a few pieces from someone's Grandma in this mix!

And here are some St. Patrick's party ideas (not so much decor)... but I thought they were cute.

And last but not least... I love the style of this shot with the frame in the background, the milk glass vase and the pops of green - showing that you can have a little fun while keeping things sophisticated.  I personally think the papercraft ornament along side is the perfect extra touch.

What's GREEN in your world this month??
